Who's Hot?
| A few week's ago following the Budweiser Shootout, we wrote about Denny Hamlin in the Who's Hot feature of our newsletter. Denny returns to our Who's Hot feature as fast as he lit up Mexico City in the Telcel-Motorola 200 presented by Banamex. A confident Hamlin proclaimed before the race that he would indeed win. Those are strong words considering the quality of talent who made the trip to Mexico City. Through clever pit strategy, Hamlin was in the lead on a restart with two laps to go. A hard charging road-course veteran, Boris Said, and the current Busch Series leader, Kevin Harvick, became locked in a battle for 2nd freeing Hamlin to extend his lead after the restart. Now Hamlin sits in 3rd place in Busch Series points at only 22 points out of 1st. Let's see if Hamlin's confidence remains high as he embarks in the grueling 2006 Busch Series schedule.
